I went to MacDonalds just to get a shamrock shake, and it tasted good, but when I took the lid off to stir it up, it looked like a vanilla shake, it wasn't green. I was very upset, I know it's only food coloring, but shamrock shakes are s'psed to be green. It took me a while before I got another one.
understandable, shamrock shakes are supposed to be green, I also would have been disappointed. I tried to make my own at home once, they were a great let down unfortunatly
July!? Of course it's not going to work. You should make them in March, but then again, why not just go to MacDonalds and get a real one, made by Uncle O'Grimacey
That does sound good, next time you make them, make one for me!!

I never thought of that, I've made milkshakes at home, but never tried a shamrock shake. What did you use for the flavor? Mint extract I presume?
yep vanilla icecream, milk, green dye, and mint extract. It was good but just not the same, especially because I made them in July
