I’m crazy for either stuffed or fried mussels!
Licks lips. Not had mussels for a while, will get some tomorrow me thinks! I can only get them pickled. And if i were to go to a restaurant they are usually boiled and served in a milk sauce. So don’t recall having them stuffed or fried :)
Hmm. And I never had them either pickled or in milk. You should definitely go have some fried mussels! Delicious than anything.
I will look on the net and try to find a local shop that sells fried mussels. I don’t much fancy my chances of frying them myself and it not turning into mulch :)
Well I agree that you shouldn’t try frying them by yourself but if you’d, remember that they roll the mussels in flour before frying :)

I must say making fried mussels with beer and ouzo is an excellent idea! :D
And they taste great dipped in mayonnaise + yoghurt + garlic sauce. Mmmmmm :)

Oyster omelettes, chilli mussels, fish and chip...yum! I could eat dozens and dozens of oysters any style.
fish soup…with monk fish..the way that sofia (my mother) makes it….. could eat a barel of it :-)
I've been a vegetarian for a while, and while I could care less about meat, honestly I do miss seafood a little bit. It's just delicious. Shrimp & scallop alfredo. All kinds of chowder. Sushi… >.<
