I like tenor and soprano too, just not as much as alto ;p Alto rocks.

I've played them all at one time or another as well. Tenor sounds like shit, soprano is too high and Bari's mouth piece vibrates too much for good playing.

Well...I just don't like the sound of a tenor generally...too mellow to be a sax...imho.

I played everything from bari to soprano while i was in band and would love to get my hands on a bass or saprillo. the saxophone is undeniably the greatest instrument ever concieved.

NOOO! Tenor is definately the best. I've played them all. Bari is my second fave. It has the coolest sound ^ then alto is the most fun to march with ^^ as well as solos. The soprano sounds like crap. But I LOVE my silver tenor sax! xD

Ive been playing the sax for five years. love it!

I play alto, but I've also gotten to play a C saxaphone too… The C saxophone was REALLY fun to play because I heard they don't make them anymore…
