Saving New York

Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) is luckily able, with help from Gwen Stacy and her father, to defeat the Lizard before he turns everyone else in Manhattan into lizards.

The Lizard taunts Peter, removing his mask and mocking him for having no family and being alone. But Gwen's father, Captain Stacy, then reinforces that Peter's not alone, which indeed he isn't. Despite Peter's own fear and pain, he perseveres and saves many lives. 

This scene, I think, really displays Peter's courage and determination, as well as that of his allies. What a brave young man. He is, as the title implies, amazing, in The Amazing Spider-Man.
