Satoshi Ohno is a member of the Japanese idol group Arashi. Originally from Tokyo, Japan, Ohno is the recognized and well-loved and humble leader of Arashi (he actually got the title through a rock-paper-scissors match against the other four Arashi members). It is said that he, unlike other groups, does not lead by command but rather by presence, preferring to watch over his members while they spread their wings than to take active charge.
Ohno is considered as the powerhouse of his group particularly in terms of singing, as he’s got one of the best voices among all the talents under Johnny’s Entertainment. And like his band mates, Ohno is also equally talented in terms of dancing and even acting.

- Ohno is the most teased member, as well as being the most talked-about member, in Arashi.
- Ohno has a very active and wandering imagination. Therefore, he seems to look shy and quiet in his TV appearances.
- Ohno’s inspiration, mentor and personal manager is his Mother.
- Ohno is far-sighted. Like Jun Matsumoto (who is near-sighted), he wears glasses only for reading, and wears contacts for public appearances.
- When they were recording A.Ra.Shi, he didn’t know that was their debut song
- Their third day in Hawaii, (one week before Arashi debuted), was when he realized that they’re debuting
- Ohno prefers acting in plays to dramas/movies.
- Acting makes him nervous, but he likes doing concerts.

- He is the most artful of all the Arashi members. Aside from his talent in singing, dancing, and acting, Ohno is actually good in drawing. In the O No Arashi tv series, Ohno’s task was to pick three pictures and draw a scene that would put the elements in the pictures altogether to come up with a story. The output was usually interestingly good. Ohno is also good at creating clay art. In one of the interviews, he revealed that he already has a collection of clay artworks which he focused on doing one summer.
