Sasuke Uchiha is a fictional character in the anime and manga series Naruto created by Masashi Kishimoto. In the beginning of the story, he is member of Kakashi Hatake's Team 7, which, at the time of his membership, consists of himself, Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who encases the spirit of a violent fox demon that attacked his village before his birth. and Sakura Haruno, a kunoichi (girl ninja) who had a crush on Sasuke at the beginner of the story, making him an original member of the Rookie Nine. But he left the team later to gain more power from a missing-nin, which was one of the Legendary Three Ninjas as well as a former member of Akatsuki, Orochimaru.
Sasuke's childhood were spent living in the shadow of his older brother, Itachi Uchiha. Itachi killed the whole Uchiha clan except his younger brother, which is Sasuke when Sasuke was 7 and Itachi was 13. The reason Itachi did not kill Sasuke was because Sasuke wasn't worth killing. As he left, Itachi repeated his encouragement to Sasuke to get strong enough to surpass him. From that day forth, Sasuke lived as an orphan. Soon after the clan's annihilation, Sasuke's only goal in life became to gain power through any means necessary in order to kill Itachi and avenge the clan. That's the reason Sasuke decides to abandon Konoha in order to seek out Orochimaru and gain power.

it's a possibility. Sasuke may die at the end of the shippuuden. It would be really emotional. You can't say he lives forever, until you've seen all of the shippuuden urself. (I haven't that's why I say it's possible) and for all I know Gaara might die for good too or kakashi. Anime is unpredictable.
You know what I think? They all are gonna live! Inclunding Sauske, Naruto, Gaara, Sakura etc or otherwise the fans will be very sad!

I know that Asuma died, but he is far from the main character, and Gaara died once, but he is a main character so he got revived. It's very hard to kill off main characters!
