A salt lamp is simply a chunk of mined salt that has been hollowed out to allow room for a lightbulb or tiny candle. The light glows through the medium of the salt crystal, which can range in color from a dark salmon pink to a pale orange.
The Salt comes from the Himalayan mountains and is between 150 and 250 million years old.
Some proclaim that the Salt Lamp is Nature’s Ionizer, releasing healthy Negative Ions into your personal space and helping to clear the air of Pollen, Dander and other Airborne irritants.
