Rukia and Orihime

Ever since the beginning of the Bleach series, there has been a ridiculous "Rukia vs. Orihime War" within the fanbase. And I, for one, find it despicable. All I ever hear is "ZOMFG I H8 ORIHIME LOL SHE IZ SO STUPID AND ANNOYING AND USELESS AND CRYBABY AND BITCH WHORE SLUT SKANK AND IZ GETTING IN DA WAY OF ICHIGO AND RUKIA WUV!!!1!!!1!!!!1ONEONEONE!!!1!!!1"

Seriously, you'd think Orihime was running around torturing puppies the way they treat her. And then they start creaming their pants over Rukia, treating her like the Queen of England. Basically, "Rukia is Jesus, and Orihime is Satan." That's pretty much how these Rukia fucktards' sick, twisted minds work. And while there aren't nearly as many Orihime fans, they're not much better. Some of them will swoon over Orihime, and treat Rukia like she's the devil incarnate. It works both ways.

What these Rukia vs. Orihime people fail to realize, is that these two girls are the best of friends. They adore eachother like the sisters they never had, and would put their own lives on the line for eachother. Orihime and Rukia are both excellent characters, lovely girls, and are both kind, caring individuals. Really, the fact that there are so many people within the Bleach fanbase stupid enough to make them out to seem like bitter rivals is quite sickening.

Rukia is strong, independant, kind, and doesn't take any nonsense from those who threaten her friends. Orihime is sweet, kind, gentle, and has been thrown into this huge mess, yet still keeps her head up high, with a smile on her face. They're like yin and yang; Very different, yet they make an excellent team. Plus, they're both vital characters to the series; If it weren't for Rukia, the show would never have started. And without Orihime, more than half the cast of Bleach - including Ichigo and Rukia - would be dead by now.

I'm not asking everyone to universally LOVE both of these characters; I'm merely trying to get them both a little more respect.

And that's my little rant. I hope I was able to open a couple of eyes.
