Technically, Rooibos is not a true tea. It comes from the plant Aspalathus linearis, rather than the Camellia plants that produce traditional teas. The name Rooibos comes from the Afrikaans word for ‘red bush’. The Rooibos plant is a small shrubby bush that only grows in South Africa.

Rooibos is great, especially the rooibos/camomile blend jus before bed time. Have you tried the rooibos espresso called red espresso. I make it at home on my Breville, it is fantastic! I could not believe the crema. It is definately the best way to drink rooibos.
I drink Red tea every morning. I drink the red tea itself also. I tear the bag open and pour the loose tea in my mug with honey. When my son was a baby and he didn't feel good. I would make his bottle with red tea, just the brew, and he would be better in no time.
I've had some of this in the cupboard for a while-I'd better try it ,hadn't I ?!
