She is a great chef in modern Brazil. Since her first jobs until managing the most important kitchen in the country where she served hundreds of Chiefs of State, among Presidents, Princes, Kings and Queens Roberta Sudbrack has been revealed as the most inventive and solid chef of her generation. Her Brazilian essence shows an authorial, creative and high quality work, using, with no excesses or regional clichés, national ingredients that dignify the Brazilian cookery.

Roberta Sudbrack’s food quality is not product of a mere casualty, but the result of a 15 year-old path dedicated to gastronomy. Her food contrasts to the obvious and the exaggeration of mixtures, who remove the natural tastes of the food. It’s light, full of textures, aromas and beauty, that wake up all the senses. That’s why she is extremely demanding in the technical rigor and in the selection of the raw material and products that she uses.

Two years ago, she opened her own place, which is considered by the national and international critics as an evolution of the concept of Restaurant, face its totally innovative concept, with the purpose of trying multiple taste experiences.

Besides collecting gastronomy awards since she came to Rio, Roberta is shaking the carioca gastronomy and impelling its evolution. Only in 2006, she won all the awards1 for best chef, granted by the main national medias. And yet her restaurant was awarded as the best contemporary restaurant in town. In 2007, she was chosen by the critical Danusia Barbara as the best chef in Rio de Janeiro for the most important restaurant guide in the city. She was also chosen the best chef in Brazil by the “Brazilian Gastronomy Award”. Also in 2007 her restaurant in Rio de Janeiro was chosen by the Food & Wine Magazine as one of the best restaurants in the World!
