Rice is great with stir-fry, curry, and anything that’s served with gravy. Stew is better when it’s poured into a bowl of hot rice, in my opinion. Peas are far more palatable when served in a big pot of rice, again, my opinion. Others probably feel the same way about beans and rice.

Rice is the great gastronomical side-kick of cuisines around the world. From the West Indies to East Asia, in all of its textures and colors, rice goes well with just about everything.

Gives you energy for the whole day ;)

But really, go for whole grain rice, they're much healthier and actually have better tastes.

Gohan (rice) is oishii! I love sticky rice. I eat rice almost everyday, it is my staple.
