Responsibility

Like Sticking your hand in a blender, responsibility is a great teacher. In the same way that placing one’s fingers in a food processor shows us the many benefits which are to be gained from NOT doing it in the first place, responsibility primarily teaches us that a surfeit of responsibility should be avoided at all costs.

Get married, have kids, sure, and work to feed your family – to love others as much as (if not more than) yourself WILL enrich you. But beyond that, what? How much responsibility and burden is worth the heartache and worry?

We’ll all be dead and forgotten soon, and so will our worries.
