A philosopher is someone who goes into a dark room at night,
to look for a black cat that isn’t there. A theologian does the same thing, but comes out claiming he found the cat
I would trust religion over government any day. Provided it's decentralized. I may be an Atheist, but let's be honest. Wars are caused by power-seekers, not by popular, standardized codes of ethics. If nobody had religion, they would be more fearful of death, and so easier to manipulate. I can think of no better indication of a decline in faith, than the adoption and expansion of a government.
Alright, what is this…what about the good stuff about religion? Let's not turn this into an argument about religion, but let's not be half-minded either. Religion is a human right thereinofitself, don't like it, don't beleive it. At least remember that not everyone is against religion.
Its completely normal and healthy to question ones beliefs..... As long as you dont lose yourself in the mist of things...I've been there. I too am content at this state of my spiritual life.....just dont ask me what exactly i believe lol But I am now able to admit I know nothing and it is not a scary thought

Brilliant – I totally agree – Education is the key.
