reddit is a web site that seeks to provide a list of what is new and interesting online. The site works by allowing any user to submit a link, which is then subject to voting by other users. Each user can add or subtract one point from the link’s score, which is used in combination with the link’s age to calculate its position on the front page. Each user’s voting history is used to create a page of recommended links for that user.
