a internetsite tells me it is located in moscow. Maybe you saw it in amsterdam when it was van Gogh year in 2003? some of his works went back to amsterdam for a few weeks.

All I can remember is I saw lots of wonderful Van Gogh paintings, but I cannot recall if it was a special exhibition. I think I went to the Van Gogh museum...
Anyway, good choice Boomstam, Sunflowers are great of course..but they are a bit too popular maybe...and this one looks so warm, almost as you could feel the setting sun.....
mine dad has this huge book with paintings of van Gogh. never saw it in real. And indeed its the warmth that makes the painting great! What else did you saw in amsterdam in 2003?
Oh well, Amsterdam is such a beautiful city. One of my favourite! I have seen the other museum, with the Flemish painters.... Anne Frank's house... quite touching indeed. And the whole of the city is just superb.
hmz, almost weekly. it became so commen for me that i dont realize about the beautifull things. Like anne franks house is ordinairy for me. for me rome and florance is more intressting to visit, which i really should!
