Actually, red is the only real colour. Think about it. Black, white, gray, blue? Not really. Green, yellow, purple, brown? Can hardly see them! Red stands out in its pure perfection. Always.

i adore red lipstick i nearly have 'all' shades of red lipstick… infact ppl always see me wearing something red it suites me as im pale and my stly in clothing and hair is very retro

well let's say there are lots of shades... very natural ones, like pinkish, brownish, beige, orangeish... but a truly red lipstick is not every woman's favourite. And of course is more suitable for the night, at least that is my opinion!! ;)
Thanks Clarabella. That's what I was getting at, I think red is a great color for lipstick, of course depending on the womans skin color, right? Anyway, I don't go for women who wear a lot of make-up, I love a "natural" look. To me it shows she has confidence in her appearance.

There's an issue about red lipsticks…use them too much and your lips will become a dark brown color…
is it true? i wouldnt think so if it was a good quality tho no?
I'm not sure about the quality of the lipsticks, but I know a few women who used red lipsticks for a long time and their lips become brown. That's why they put on dark or bright red everyday to cover their lip color, and their lips' natural color become worse and worse…
