I use this (very archetypically British) word way more than any sensible American should.

But then again, most of my countrymen do not use it as a positive, instead usually employing the overused and inelegant “really,” and only know it as an indicator of preference or the surname of an ex-newsman and possible conspiracy theorist.

Oh well. Their loss.
