The Queen's Thief (or Attolia) series by Megan Whalen Turner has got to be among the most overlooked awesome fantasy series' there is. The main character is a fathomless, sulky, incredibly annoying and somehow incredibly lovable thief
who goes by Gen, or Eugenides.
Other characters include Eddis, cute and cuddly Sophos, the Magus, who remains aggravatingly nameless, the unathomable Attolia, Teleus, and the adorably incompetent Costis Ormentiedes.
