Pullips are dolls created by the Korean company Chunsang Chunha and marketed by JUN Planning of Japan.
Pullips are about 11” (300mm) and have fully articulated joints and slim, hard plastic bodies with an oversized head and large eyes. A unique feature of these dolls is their eye mechanism. You can make their eyes move side to side by moving a lever located on the back of their heads, and make their eyes wink by pushing on buttons located beside the lever, either one at a time, or together to make both her eyelids close. Each doll comes with a unique outfit and accessories.
The first dolls were released in Japan in the summer of 2003, and are gaining in popularity more and more each day! A different Pullip and Little Pullip are released every month. They are never remade and are only released in a limited first issue, so once they are sold out they are gone for good!
