I'll tell you eye-leah, we do get spoiled down here cause it never is winter here. So great place to be outside 350+ days a year.

Luckily fire departments from Cali and all over the US are getting these fires under control.

I understand the cause was arson…

yeah they did arrest one man for one of the fires in L A, but for San Diego fires I haven't heard too much yet.

Yeah, it was scary, woke up Monday morning and looked at the internet said fires were spreading, turned on radio to find out that the freeway I take to work everyday was closed because of fire on both east and west sides, and that the fire was just five miles away in the next town.

I don't want to over dramatize it, but I feel very lucky that it all passed me by again, this time.

Oh yeah, the hill side that is on fire, I drove past that on the way to work Tuesday morning. I didn't take the pictures, but who ever did was probably stopped on the other side of the freeway, (the side with the fire on it) to take that picture.

this is like a blizzard up there, they will just put the fires out and clean up and 'Breath In, Breath Out, Move On'. But there are people about 1500 - 2000 homes destroyed at last count that will have a very hard time, rebuilding and getting their feet under them again.

This happened last time in 2004, most people have rebuilt and you would never know that a fire had been there.
