Have to be carefully selected when picked. When you buy them, they are very expensive, but it is well worth.

Are the best Porcini from the Appennines?
I think some from the Val Taro and Lunigiana are the best I ever had.
Awesome on pizza!!!!!!!!!!! yeahhh
Definitely Lunigiana has great porcini. It's the northern part of Tuscany, and they do have marvellous wild woods over there! ;)
Also Garfagnana I think....;)
mmhh, I am getting hungry.....
mmmmmmmmm…
Apparently only the Italians - and a Swiss Italian! - have a knowledge of Porcini!!!
hehehe too bad ;)
the others don't know what they lose...
anyway, I love all kinds of mushrooms... what about "mazze di tamburo impannate"? (don't ask me to translate it in english!) or chiodini sott'olio? yummy!!!
Yes yes yes! If only we could have them everyday...
They're a bit too heavy unfortunately.....;)
sigh… =)
Give me porcini anyday!!!!
Golosastro!!
