Why does microwave popcorn taste so different compared to movie theatre popcorn? Is it the machine, because if I have to buy a popcorn machine to have movie popcorn, I’ll do it.

Nooooooo. Microwave is just WRONG .

It has to be made the proper way…that is to say, in an oil-coated frying pan…in order to achieve premium taste.

And don’t get me started on the abomination that is Jiffy Pop.

Sweet ones only…the ones they sell in movie theaters have TOO much butter and it feels like you’re eating butter with popcorns instead of eating popcorns with butter.

I don’t know what Jiffy Pop is, but I don’t like the sound of it. Sweet ones are good,but I prefer the fat inducing buttery madness that is movie theatre popcorn. I don’t like it soggy though.

I love popcorn, but I have to totally be in the mood for it. I haven't made it the proper way in a long time. I have to agree that's the way to go! I actually also like it air-popped, coated in butter and chili powder!! Yay! Now that's a party right there, I tell ya whut!!

I had popcorn once and i was so disgusted with it i threw it in the trash and a hobo nearby was like "Hey! I could've eaten that!" and i was all like "Trust me… You would rather starve than eat that." which he did

Granted, there’s a lot of bad popcorn in the world, but you cannot cast off such an important food as popcorn! It’s literally a meal in my household.

I love popcorn !! The first job I got as a teen was...makin popcorn in a playland of the mall and that was just becoz I love eatting popcorn and its smell so much. hah

Yum in all it's forms…I mean this stuff is so portable! Everywhere you go, you can get popcorn. Even when you're camping in the middle of the woods you can have Jiffy Pop, and when the power goes out at my house that's all we can make on our woodstove….and soup, but who wants to eat soup??
