Pokemon TV Show an animated series, is the story of a young boy, named Ash Ketchum who receives his first Pokemon, named Pikachuu from Prof. Oak, at the age of 10, he receives his first Pokemon, Pikachuu from Prof. Oak. Ketchum starts his Pokemon journey along with his best friends: Misty a Water Pokémon Trainer, Dawn who travels around to compete in contests like her mother, Brock a Rock Pokémon Trainer, May who starts journey for sights and not for Pokemon, Max, and Tracey.

i agree with chirshill172 it was great but now it totally suxs. why did they have to make all those icky changes! like why did misty have to go? she was sooo COOL!

Yeah, I know all the Pokemon from the first 2 generations, they kind of got stuck in my head.  If you show me a picture, I'll know the name, or vice-versa.

i remember when i used to know all their names and watch the tv show and play the pokemon cards with my friends at school!!!! i can't believe i used to like that s**t!!!! and i mean when i was hmmmmmm  9 years old i was obsessed!!! picatchu revolves to riachu or smth that's what i remember now!!!! lol!!!

Hands down.  Fire always wins.

I remember one time I had 6 level 132 Mewtwo's because of a glitch.  It was AWESOME.

much, now with all this new crap, pokemon has experienced dramatic over kill. May killed it and Dawn ripped it up in it's coffin. All the new crappy pokemon helped her.

Pokemon has experienced some overkill.  They need to stop making shit up.  It got old after the 3rd gen.

 

But those 3 gens were heaven in my hands.....

I haven't played diamond or pearl yet, but I will soon! lol

I grew up playing these games, actually it came a little late for me I started playing in 4th grade I think but I will still play it I don't care.

The underlying message, which I hope a lot of people are not missing. Pokemon is about environmental conservation, peace, respect, and all those good nice things people wish they could have in a "perfect world". 

As for the changes made in the games, yea I admit that old skool red/blue/yellow were tottally cool, best games in the genre by default, because they were original and that's what everyone remembers. But I have enjoyed every single one of the pokemon games, I think that change can be good. OK enough of me, now, huh? lol :P

this is my childhood memory because when i was 6-7 pokemon was introduce to america and i actually like pokemon during those childhood times and collected pokemon cards although we grow out of it someday….........i still vote this as my favorite childhood days….........peace out

I don't care when people bash all of the new generations of pokemon. The games are SO addicting. The game mechanics (especially in Platinum) are amazing.
I remember when I was in 2nd grade...that's when the first Pokemon hype began. Some kid on my bus showed me some cards, and I really liked the pictures on them. So I bought myself a pack, and in that first pack I got a holographic Flareon! I was hooked since.

Was great x3 and awesome, but now i look more at the details and things and it get pretty old and ... bit lame :D still some cute pocket monsters >;]  Naruto rocks! :O Gotta catch them all!!
