What the hell is “space rock”? And what the hell is “progressive rock”!?
Oh, well, nevermind, of course they’re the best at space and progressive rock too. They’re probably the best in hardcore-trash-death-metall too.
There’s a lot of fighting about a second place in my list of best bands, but there’s no way anything can take Pink Floyd out of the first line.
One of the characteristics of Pink Floyd’s music is the experimental side of it, which is also the backbone of Progressive Rock.

i saw pink floyd on feb 1981 in dortmund/germany. the wall. after that concert i cut my hair and become a punk. thank you pink floyd.

this concert was just to much. to much technologie, to much perfection. so i decided to go back to a more basical rock ‘n’ roll. punk was the logical choice at that time. a music everybody could learn to play. everybody has his/hers own band. in spit of our motto NO FUN we had a lot.
OK, I can understand that. So, what kind of punk rock did you listen to? Ramones? Sex Pistols? Stuff like that? Or newer artists?

Has anyone heard that you can play this album while watching "the Wizard Of Oz" and they sync up? You have to start both at the first of the Movie.

There are a bunch of places you online you can try the "Dark Side of Oz" trick. It's nothing that would make you suspect it was intentional, but there are a few neat coincidences in there, if it's synched exactly right.
There sure are a lot of urban legends about that movie, aren't there?
