People Watching

If only I could get away with it.

I love people watching. I guess that’s why I like looking at photos so much on Flickr. It’s so interesting to see peoples’ everyday lives in far away places… or even across town. :)

i prefer this in ‘peep’ form…

hah I love this site. Till now I really thought I was the only person that did this. Ive sat in barnes and nobel when I was supposed to be working on some school junk and just stared and observed how people act and what they do. Its really facinating to see how different people do every day things.

I love it! If I have to pick someone up from the airport, I go early just so I can people watch!

How sad is that?!

I do this with my friend. We usually end up laughin at people. Yes, yes I am mean. >:)

Hey, purple octopus, I do a lot of people watching at the airport, too! I sometomes go there on purpose just to watch people.

I do this at school a lot… I thought I was the only one that enjoyed this…

A lot of days I go to the mall and just sit there pretending to be waiting for someone. It's so relaxing and interesting and sometimes hilarious to watch other people's habits.

I love going to the mall and doing that but i cant go alone b/c i need to comment out loud so usually me and one of my friends go and just get like a coffee or something and watch it really is a great form of entertainment

yes, I do that too.

I like to stare at anybody (a singer in a concert or a policeman for example) just to see what he does then and how he gets nervous, it works ;)

i like to imagine how their lifes are.

haha how amusing! I do that sometimes, like make up little stories for why there bying that certain pair of shoes or why they're fighting in public its pretty fun

even more when you have got a camera and you start talking alone

I don't think I people watch to judge, I just can't help but watch behaviors.

Make sure it's a busy place AND time … doesn't work so well if there's only one other guy in the Tim Horton's.  Then it's just creepy.  On a similar note, has anyone noticed themselves being people-watched?  I wonder what lives other people make up for me.

Tim Horton's? I'm not familiar with that…

haha I dont think I've ever noticed other people 'people watching' me, but if they did I would love to know what they were thinking about or what story they come up with to fit me hahaha

I try to imagine what people could be thinking about me, sometimes.

Sometimes I act like a different person, just to throw them off …  'cause I know they're watching … 

I live in Nashville, TN., and like to go to the Opryland Hotel and look at all the tourists wearing cowboy clothes, trying to look like what they THINK a Nashville native looks like, or else they perhaps are trying to fool people into thinking that they are Country Music stars.  Either way it DOESN"T work.  Nobody in Nashville, including Country Music stars, wear -cowboy clothes UNLESS they are performing on stage, and then they don't put them on until they get in the dressing rooms.  The only people you see on the streets in Western clothing in Nashville, are the tourists.  They make total fools of themselves trying to look famous and important.  It is hilarious!

Ha! I do that in airports a lot. It's like watching a movie. Sometimes during a lapse in conversation in a restaurant I listen to the background noise and it can be pretty funny.

I just did this the other day at the mall while I was waiting to meet up with my mates.

Watching peoples body language is so under-rated.

i video tape them on my phone the best part is they dont know

I’m always do it with friends, giving our opinion, making fun of them and laugh...I know it’s bad but I just can’t help it...it’s kind of entertaining and fun hahahaaa

I do this everywhere.  I like to make up stories for people, too.
