Simple, timeless, and massively appealing, I remember singing “The Peanut Butter and Jelly Song” as a kid. Even adults love PB&J. According to wikipedia, the military had included PB&J sandwiches in their Meals, Ready-to-eat (MRE’s) for several years to placate soldiers who missed the sandwich while on deployment.
