The Cars’ 1980 album, Panorama, came as a bit unexpected to fans of The Cars and critics alike. It was criticized for its lyrics that were darker than the band’s normal lyrics, but was sadly underrated and ahead of its time. It only had one Top 40 hit, Touch and Go.
