I can’t believe people think prison break is a better prison show…it’s a good drama but nothing can beat OZ when it comes to prisons.
prison break is actually a joke of a show. at least when compared to Oz. it’s just that it’s not quite maintream enough that everyone knows about it. but prison break airs near the simpsons, or something like that.

I really think it’s ridiculous to compare Prison Break. The only thing they have in common is the fact they’re both prison shows.
Prison Break will never be the show OZ was. And truthfully, I’m thankful for that.
(Not to say Prison Break isn’t a good show)
Never watched Prison Break. Didn't watch Oz for a long time cuz I thought, stupid jail show bout guys in the showers n' all dat… pfft! But once I saw one episode I was hooked! Great show! Beecher and the O'Reily bro's were my fav.

The two shows are completely different, Oz & Prison Break that is...
& to be honest... I don't think Oz finished to strong... a bit of a disapointment...
But it was a great show still, Kareem Said shouldn't have died though, along with Hill too.
They damaged Oz in some respects I feel.
No other show compares to Oz. I didn't pay any attention when it was aired between 1997-2003. But, when I watched some episodes in 2009, I got addict immediately. Oz is the best of all time, no doubt about it.
