Songwriter Linford Detweiler and singer/songwriter Karin Bergquist, who married a couple of albums into their recording career and have covered impressive distance artistically since then, offer an astonishing, somewhat unsettling, invitation here. They invite us into their living room (where the album was recorded in its entirety), into their personal dialogue, into their fears, questions, and dreams. The album cover gives us glimpses of their furniture, their dogs and cats, the beautiful house where they’ve composed so much wonderful music.
