Using the online apps like Ta-da list, you can be quite impressed. But what happens when you have no internet connection. You are out of luck. Everyone is getting into online apps, and it is a good thing. But if you have a laptop and you take it everywhere, sometimes trying to access your online apps can be a burden. OmniOutliner is a great organising tool and it is always there.
The Lite version is available with the new Macs. It is simple and clean and appeals to different expertise of its users.
OmniOutliner is made by Omnigroup. Omnigroup also have a staple of other handy little apps like OmniGraffle which is brilliant for design specs and prototyping.
