"Ojos Así" (English: Eyes like those) was the second single released by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira from her 1998 album ¿Dónde Están los Ladrones? in July 1999.
The song is in Spanish, but contains minor interludes of Arabic chants. It uses a Phrygian dominant scale throughout.
"Ojos Así" became extremely popular on Latin American countries and has became Shakira's biggest hit in Brazil, since "Estoy Aquí".
In 2001, an English language version of the song, entitled "Eyes Like Yours" appeared on Shakira's hit album Laundry Service. This version also contained Arabic interludes although the musical arrangement was slightly different. The rough, though surprisingly literal (in most places), translation was written by Shakira and Gloria Estefan.
The music video for "Ojos Así" features Shakira performing the song for a crowd. In the background is a giant neon eye, which shoots out sparks and catches fire toward the end of the video. There are also clips of Shakira, belly dancing in front of a purple background. In these clips, there are snakes painted down her arms and red lines painted on her head.
Shakira won a Latin Grammy Award in the category of Best Female Pop Vocal Performance with "Ojos Así" in 2000.
