Nymphadora "Dora" Tonks is a fictional character from the Harry Potter series. She is a Metamorphmagus, an Auror and a member of the Order of the Phoenix. She is described as having "...a pale heart-shaped face, dark twinkling eyes, and short spiky hair that was a violent shade of violet". Tonks is seen to be notoriously clumsy and unskilled at household spells.
Despising her given name, she prefers to be called "Tonks". She is the daughter of Andromeda (nee Black) and Ted Tonks. She attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1984 to 1991, and was in Hufflepuff House.

Go Dora! She plays a bigger role in the books ... And her hair doesn't change with her mood, which is what the movie made it look like ...
