blrownsu posted over 6 years ago: I waited 20 hours at Wal Mart to get my hand on one. It is so awesome to play, the possibilities are endless with this thing, I have Wii Sports, Need for Speed, and Zelda, and they are all so much fun to play. Wii is awesome.

You already know what the best games are, zelda, metroid,mario,smash brothers etc. I have Trauma Center, which is fun but a little short and doesn’t have too much replay value. Sonic and the Secret Rings is fun but isn’t from anyone and suffers from minor problems like voice acting and walking backwards. RE:Wii is coming out for 29.99 and that’s what I’ll be picking up. The really impressive games are all coming out at the end of the year.

I wish I had a Wii, but I decided to get a 360 instead. My bro has both and it seems like a cool system. It's just that it doesn't have enough fps' out there and it won't have Halo 3.

Heck yes. If anything like Smash Bros. Melee was available to play online through console.. I'd be done for.

Thinking of the children? Shouldn't that be left up to the parents? I mean it's not like they have to make ONLY online accessible consoles.

Yeah well it had to do with the DS and the Friend Codes for Animal Crossing (awesome game!). They must have wrongly felt as if that system worked and just brought it over to the console.

Parents are stupid- if Nintendo doesn't incorporate safety measures they'll get flak from it. I'm sure you've heard all the numerous (and pathetic) stories of murders being "influenced by Grand Theft Auto" etc? I think Nintendo are just covering their asses and showing that videogames can be safe.

Eitherway, it's annoying not being able to play Mario Strikers with a headset! :@
