Yeah, ex vocalist Tarja Turunen has a very goth voice. Now, I’m waiting for new album with unknown new vocalist…. :] – I’m curious -

Tarja has a great voice. it’s just funny that the band used her for one last show, then kicked her out right after it ended :P

This band is the best.. also my fave band. =] Currently waiting for their new single and to find out who the new singer is! =D

I only discovered Nightwish recently, and now I can’t get enough.

I'm going to see them next year =)

Nightwish is the best band ever fav songs hav to be the kinslayer, stargazers, slaying the dreamer, 7 days to the wolves and the ilst would go on forever.

Nightwish sucks, get a grip, seek for some less known goth metal bands and when you listen to some music of theirs tell me is Nightwish still the best . they are just populare and everyone know just about them…

Firstly taketaske Nightwish is nt gothic metal its symphonic metal and where i come from nearly no one knows about nightwish if u hav better bands then tell me there names oh and dnt go around saying wat bands suck y dnt u go form a band write a hole bunch of songs and become a sucessful muscian then you can go say wat ever u want . p.s y did u look up nightwish just to say they suck tats sad man.

Nightwish has to be like the best band ever, and if anyone else says they're goth one more time I swear I am going to shoot them.

The new album is great. Anette was great in concert. She can't carry the standard chorus at the range that tarja can, but she's very expressive, it works. It's a close call. I think they should call tarja back for occassional vocals when they need the operatics. Her husband pulled such a Yoko Ono move, reading about it, sounds like he deliberately drove a wedge between her and the band. But they definitely shouldn't lose Anette, she's much more into the spirit of the genre, like that redhead from epica. Check out Anette on Poet and Pendulum if you have any doubts.

Voting Nightwish best symph band was a close call for me, I think Epica is probably just as good, there are a couple of tracks where Nightwish really hits it that threw my vote. Ghost love score is another.  

Nightwish it's simply, the best band ever; it's the most sucesfull symphonic and finnish band than i ever knew, Finland has to be proud about this angels of music

well i like tarja better she had a more unique tone but anette is also very good!Nightwish rocks!!

does any know a band called ESTATIC FEAR….they are the best…i mean…the best i have or will hear….unfortunately they only have two albums…do u know any band like them???

though, i wonder why they kicked out Tarja
