” The story features ubiquitous creatures called Mushi that often display seemingly supernatural powers. Mushi are described as being closer to the essence of life but also beyond the lowly and grotesque creatures we are accustomed to. Due to their nature most humans are incapable of perceiving Mushi and are oblivious to their existence, but there are a few who possess the ability to see and interact with Mushi.
One such person is Ginko, the main character of the series. He employs himself as a Mushi-shi (Mushi catcher), traveling from place to place in order to research Mushi and aid those suffering from problems caused by them. The series can be thought of as a sort of anthology in which the only common elements between episodes are Ginko, the main character; and the Mushi in general. There is no over-arching main plotline. “
A great anime series that weaves between horror and melancholy. Each episode is it’s own standalone tale. Cool stuff!

i LOVE this series!!!! it always leaves me shivering.
I just started this series but, so far, it rocks. The music in it is awesome, and Ginko has a really pretty eye.
