The Moody Blues started as an r&b/rock´n´roll band in 1964.
They had a hit single in 65: "Go Now".
Later in 1966, Denny Laine (guitar & vocals) and bassist Clint Warwick left the band to be replaced by Justin Hayward (guitar, vocals) and John Lodge on bass.
Other members were Ray Thomas (flute, harmonica, sax), Gaeme Edge (drums) and Mike Pinder (piano, organ, mellotron).
In 1967 their music suffered radical changes as they were developing more psychedelic/progressive sounds.
Their second album, "Days Of Future Passed", released later that year was a milestone.
