Definitely the best show on the old television set. Not just for it’s time, but for our time and all time too!! How can you forget sketches like the “dead parrot” or the “dirty Hungarian phrase book” or the infamous “hint, hint, nudge, nudge, say no more!” These six masters of comedy will forever live on in the hearts of all Pythonians.

Series 1 has finally been released on DVD here in the UK – woohoo! About time too!
How odd. Got the complete 14 DVD set years ago here in Germany (region free international version). Never stopped laughing since then; named my fruit bat “Eric”; plan to move to Bolton soon.
The one show you knew would leave you in tears of laughter when it was over. It was a groundbreaking show.
