On “The Muppet Show” series (performed by Frank Oz), she was initially intended to be only a bit character, but her aggressive personality expressed in karate chops, intrigued the writers and she became a more prominent character to whom the viewers responded. I used to think she was so cool. Now I wish I hadn’t, because maybe I wouldn’t be so pudgy.
