As long as you can forgive its sixities failings, Midnight Cowboy is poignant film about two men struggling to survive.
...I mean sixties, of course. :)
Definately a dated Film and yet the acting by John Voight & Dustin Hoffman exposing themselves as 2 Bottom Feeders is an amazing spectacle to watch . . . later . . .
I often play the soundtrack pitched down to -4 on my player..It adds weight to the whole atmosphere. The funny thing is whenever i hear this soundtrack it always puts me in a good mood. I put it down to coming out at the tail end of the sixties..
