The Australian Meat Pie must be eaten with ones hands. No knives and folks are allowed.
When one is ready to consume the Meat Pie, one can put a dallop of tomoto sauce (ketchup) or even better smear the tomoto sauce evenly over the pie.
The meat pie is consumed by arching ones thumb and finger around the sides of the meat pie. Strategic bites must be made on the pie, to minimise the filling of meat gravy to fall out.
