Firefox is better… Maxthon may have tabbed browsing but it is built off IE =[
Here’s my opinion on these “Get Firefox” comments and why I won’t actually get one: Firefox uses nearly four times the memory needed to run Maxthon. Maxthon is clearly faster than Firefox in 5 out of 7 measures of performance and is significantly faster from a cold start. Though it’s not the best result—Opera is a bit faster. Actually even Mozilla is faster than Firefox and considering Firefox is supposed to be the lighter, leaner version of the Mozilla suite, this is very surprising. Firefox is also one of the most insecure windows browsers and definitely much less secure then Maxthon. And so on and so forth.
so what if maxthon is built off IE. i have used most of the recommended browsers – firefox, opera, ie7, avant browser and tried many others. Maxthon is the best. It just overcomes all the shortcommings of IE. and what is more i have never had a security concern all this time. it is simply the most efficient web broweser
