Martin Luther King, Jr. worked for racial equality and civil rights in the United States of America. He participated in many peaceful demonstrations that protested the unfair treatment of African-Americans. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.

His “I have a dream” speech still brings tears to my eyes. I look forward to the day when we can live together peacefully.
Here is the text and mp3 of I Have a Dream
Gives me chills even when I hear excerpts from it. What a great speech. Come to think of it, all of his speeches were great because he spoke of something he truly believed in his heart, and that came through when he spoke.
