Malmö, Sweden’s third biggest city actually is closer to Copenhagen in Denmark than to Stockholm. It only takes half an hour by train, over the bridge that was opened in 2000, to the Danish Capital. After a deep slump in the seventies and early eighties, Malmö is now a self confident city on the go. A suitable illustration is the construction of Turning Torso (picture), the region’s tallest high-rise. And now they are about to build another, even higher, on the southern end, just by the first stop by the train from Copenhagen.
