Loose Socks

Loose socks ( rûsu sokkusu ) are a type of socks that are popular among Japanese and Korean high school girls. A decendant of the leg warmer, they are, essentially, very baggy socks, sometimes with the elastic removed, worn with a school uniform or short skirt. They represented a huge trend among school-aged girls in the late ninties in Japan, although they are still worn and frequently represented in anime and manga, with the familar sērā-fuku.
