Humans are just so… what’s the word? Icky… sometimes.
I’m reading this book right now and I just love the first paragraph. I reread it like twenty times and still cant get over how beautiful (in a weird creepy twisted way) and powerful it is.
I couldn’t get over how meticulously crafted this novel was. An amazing piece of writing. A deserved classic.
Nabokov makes pedophilia poetic, and layered with human emotion. GREAT BOOK !
Lolita is my favorite book! Its such a romantic deep piece of retrospective literature!
