a happy song comes on about love right after you meet someone nice. or a sad song about a rough day comes on after you got fired. either way, it's definately nice to know that someone else has felt like you, and has had the money and influence to write a song about it that you happen to have on your iPod/MP3 player.

It's weird isn't it, how if you play some on songs on "shuffle" mode, the first few exactly reflect your mood?

I dunno, it happens sometimes.

I was walking in the rain one day, and "Singin' in the rain" started playing in my head, and I started singing.

MastaKink

Woah, that's just spooky… I was walking by the river one day and 'Whiskey River' came on, and the river water suddenly turned to whiskey and… let me just say, best canoe trip ever!!

MastaKink
MastaKink posted over 2 years ago

...and this time after that, I was walking through downtown Georgia, and 'the night the lights went out in Georgia' came on and… you guessed it, blackout!

dumbbrunette

MastaKink

So you hate me cuz you think that I hate you when in fact i don't hate you but you keep pushing my buttons keep pushing and pushing and that is exactly what I do to people so then i like you more but still you like me less and on and on we go…

Melissa

The sad thing is that I know exactly what you're saying. And I think that there's only one conclusion: We're soulmates.

...Nah! Foot in mouth

Actually at any mood I listen to rock music. If I'm sad I listen to rock, if I'm happy I listen to rock, and etc.

It's not the same, I know. But while reading a book the weather in book is exactly as the weather outside give me a  fabulous  feeling.

Swissbob:  Unless it's raining and you have no cover.  Then it's not such a fabulous feeling.  More like, "OH ****!!  IT'S SOGGY!!"

The big hit at the moment has been a song called my umbrella – no wonder theres been so much flooding and sodding rain – the song just dropped of the Number 1 and suddenly summer has started

Silthilar
Silthilar posted about 1 year ago

is that that song where she says 'my umbrella ella ella' over and over again?

Melissa
Melissa posted about 1 year ago

Oh Rhianna, such a brilliant lyricist…

Saddam
Saddam posted about 1 year ago

damn – its in my head now :o( – er er er ella ella  ahhhhhhhh

Kittilyn
Kittilyn posted about 1 year ago

Brella, ella ella.  EH! EH! EH!  Brella, ella, ella.  EH! EH! EH!

Rinse and repeat ...

Can't deny it's catchy, though.

Silthilar
Silthilar posted about 1 year ago

can too:  it is not!

ha! be thwarted!

i know what you mean though...i'm not into that kind of music and don't like that song, but it is catchy in the getting-stuck-in-your-head kind of way...for me at least...

Kittilyn
Kittilyn posted about 1 year ago

Ha.  Thought someone might decide to be controversial ... : D

I should've said, "Can't deny it's catchy in a LOGICAL DEBATE."  But that seemed kinda uppity.  Tongue out

Glad to hear someone just wants to argue!  : D  I love arguing.

MastaKink
MastaKink posted about 1 year ago

No you don't…

Kittilyn
Kittilyn posted about 1 year ago

Yes I do.  Prove that I don't!!

MastaKink
MastaKink posted about 1 year ago

You most certainly do not!! I can prove it… somehow…

Silthilar
Silthilar posted about 1 year ago

that's not argument, its just contradiction!

MastaKink
MastaKink posted about 1 year ago

No it isn't…

Silthilar
Silthilar posted about 1 year ago

*hopes for a moment that i'm not the only one who's seen the argument clinic, then gives up and carries on the obscure reference*

no, an argument is intellectual process! contradiction is just automatically gainsaying anything the other person says!
