In Ireland, Ciotóg is a word used to describe left-handed people, which also means ‘strange person.’
All over the world, the word left has meanings ranging from ‘clumsy’ to ‘improper’ to ‘sly’ to ‘evil.’
In many cultures, left-handed children were forced to use their right hand, or else ostracized because of their use of their left hand.
Recently, the number of left-handed people in the human population has been increasing steadily, perhaps because of the cessation of such practices mentioned above.

I'm a lefty but, like iheartpink says I am like that also. But, I can write both handed but, I am a lefty though. Found out someone I know is a lefty and I am like Oh my Gosh! I couldn't believe he was one! Ha!
