Lee Seung Gi is a K-pop singer. He debuted at the age of 17 on 18th. 2004 when he was still a high school student. Being tall and handsome, his voice color is the contrary to his soft look. Lee seung gi has a low and powerful tone of voice that appeals yo many pop music lovers. Lee seung gi is an active student at school. He served as the student president in his second year in Sangkye High School. He first started music in high school by joining the school band as the leading vocalist. While performing with his band in a small theater in Daehagno, Lee seung gi was scouted by Lee,Sun-Hee, a former singer in the late 1980's and 90's. After two years of hard training, Lee Seung gi first appeared on stage with the song entitled "Because You're My Girl", his debut single, was avery popular ballad and created a "liking older women" syndrome in South Korea. In the 2004 MBC Music Awards, he won the Best New Artist award.
Lee Seung Gi was a regular guest on SBS's X-Man, He also joined KBS's 1 night, 2 Days show, part of the network's Happy Sundat lineup, as one of its permanent members, debuting on the November 11th episode. He won the best male artist award in the MKMF music festival.
