LEETEUK, member of the popular idol group SUPER JUNIOR, is to receive punishment for lying on a variety program.
On July 30, Leeteuk made a guest appearance on M.NET's "School of Rock", and lied about how a famous Korean figure skater refused his cyworld friend invitation.
On August 9, the television commissioners of the Performing Arts Entertainment Committee made an internal discussion and decides, "Hope Leeteuk will apologize to the audience." People involved with the incident explained, "The guests and producers of the variety program has all lied to the audience. For our reputation, we will receive punishment.
As for Leeteuk's punishment for lying, a final decision is still need to be made, and a hearing will be taking place every Tuesday to discuss. Members of the department said, "A finally decision should be made by the 28th."
