Lady Dedlock is one of the key characters in Charles Dicken’s book, Bleak House.
She has been portrayed by Dianna Rigg in the 1985 BBC adaptation, and most recently by Gillian Anderson, in the highly acclaimed 2005 version (also from the BBC ).
